  • The Creative Spirit

    On the Day of the Dead, a ghostly composer reunites with a lifelong friend for the world premiere of their final creation, only to discover the song is incomplete. With time slipping away and the audience’s help, they must finish the song together before the ghost composer departs again.

    It's a showdown! A notorious bandit holds the show hostage and the local sheriff is called in to establish order. The only way to deescalate the situation is to hold a competition for “Best Conductor in the West.” The audience decides the new winner in a musical conduct-off finale.

    Everybody loves music, but not everyone agrees on what music is best. Join Mozart, along with Snooty, the Professor of Musical Snobbery, as they share their favorite pieces and battle it out to decide whose musical tastes will win the day.

    Explore the diverse eras of symphonic music with Mozart and Snooty, who present two different approaches to listening to and interacting with the symphony orchestra, while we experience music from Vivaldi to today!
